Gold Channel

Troubleshooting:

Issues are bound to arise whether it is due to equipment failure, network connectivity or other reasons. We work around the clock to make sure our resources and equipment are operational prior to an event, sometimes troubleshooting certain things during the event itself.

However, there will be times where the viewer can self-troubleshoot in an event were things are operational on the Oxford School District’s end:

1. Window not getting past WSN Live company logo – In the event this happens while an event is in progress, simply refresh that channel’s webpage and try again. If this happens more than three times in a row, it is either that there’s no event in progress, a network or hardware malfunction on our end or the user’s network connection. Sometimes, it is also wise for the user to switch to another internet browser as well.

2. Lagging picture/audio – Because live streaming requires a solid internet connection by both the provider and consumer, there will be times were internet signal is a hindrance for a quality viewing experience. If this occurs, the user should check their internet network’s strength. Sometimes, it is due to something on the Oxford School District’s end. Events away from the Oxford School District are more bound to have this issue due to the venue being outside the Oxford School District’s control from an infrastructure standpoint.
